Monticello
We left Gerry & Rosie's house at 7:45 am. Bill was the only one awake for the goodbye.  I wanted to say goodbye, but didn't get up until we had pulled away from their house.  The kids slept through half of the three hour trip to Monticello.  Monticello is Thomas Jefferson's estate and home.  We saw a movie at the visitor's center and then toured the house and the grounds.  Bill loved it.  He says that Thomas Jefferson was a lot like me - he made lists for everything and was very organized.
We camped at a KOA south of Charlottesville.  The boys (that includes Bill) ran their RC cars (Thanks Seth for loaning us an additional car) around the site.  We also swam in the pool.
