In San Francisco, we toured Alcatraz Island, shopped the piers, ate, saw the hilly, curvy streets, rode bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and rode the ferry back. Joe woke up Friday morning with a sore throat and fever. We were fairly certain it was strep, but we gave him ibuprofen and forced him to ride a bike 10 miles! He did really well.
